This is just lovely, love your paint work, and the outer paint looks amazing, love the color.

Thank you for your kind words, Warren.
In the meantime, the blue tape edges have been added. Applying them by hand with a brush is not so easy, so I used the airbrush.
This of course requires extensive masking, a job I don't love at all.

The preliminary result, there is of course still a lot to be corrected:

Cheers
Joerg

Great paintjob, Joerg. You?ll do the corners by hand?

That is looking really good Joerg, I really like the fabric colour and finish you have achieved.

I am dreading the masking on this one. I too want to know if you are going to paint in the corners.

Also, it appears you are not using the CSM masks. Why not?

I guess I need to make a small instruction on where those blue stirpes should be painted)

@Andreas and Nigel. Of course I will use the painting masks from CSM to paint the corners of the wings, that's what they are for 😉.
Greetings
Joerg

Got it, thanks. I like the way you have painted the straight parts of the tapes first and are going to add in the curved parts. I had not thought of that, it will make the masking job easier. Thanks for sharing your photos!

Your N.11 looks resplendent in that buttercream and blue trim scheme, Borsos. Well done!

Thank you, Nigel, Vickers and RAGIII.
Just a little update today. After painting the wing edges a glossy varnish was applied and then the decals could be applied. The decals are from Cartograf, so good quality and a good fit to the model surface is guaranteed.
Next comes shading and some weathering.

Cheers

Jorg, great build!)
Please do not forget to paint a blue stripe on the edge of the wing that is next to the fuselage
Also the lower stripe where you have stitches on the side panels joining with the fuselage top cowl should be aluminium
