I was trying to better understand the cockpit of the D.III. The Albatros Datafile #1 and the Roden kit have it wrong as they portray the control stick as the same as the D.II. In fact the D.III has the same as the D.Va, actually, the D. Va had the D.III controls.
I learned this by studying the Craft Lab website. They have made Austrian examples of the D.II and D.III, and I suspect made the fuselage for the TVAL D.II. They have also made a Hansa Brandenberg C.I. This the components which have the control systems for both Albatros variants. You can back into the whole page from here. Enjoy!
