Airco DH.2 - Modelik - 1/33
« on: January 01, 2025, 06:27:11 AM »
Happy new year everybody! I've finished this year by making Airco De Havilland 2.
Model is based on old 1/33 paper kit published by Modelik in 2005 (I believe), but most parts were heavily modified and repainted using enamel or oil paints. I would consider it ~60% original and ~40% scratch built.
Rigging took around 5 evenings and many new curse words were invented during the process. Here's the result:

Wow, that's incredibly impressive for a paper model, well done!

Very nice!
Especially your work on the nose is a huge improvement!
To give an idea to the non-paper guys.
