WNW Fokker E.II
« on: December 18, 2024, 03:34:41 AM »
My gold medal display at the October MMSI Show in Chicago. WNW Max Immelmann Fokker E.II. Aftermarket includes Aviattic Fokker E Series decals, Gaspatch Spandau and turnbuckles with EZ line rigging. Figure is from the kit with an alternate Immelmann head from Model Cellar. Weathered with oils. Displayed with a reproduction Pour le Mertie and three original Sanke Cards.

I shall never forget my admiration for that German pilot, who single handed, fought seven of us for ten minutes. I saw him go into a fairly steep dive and so I continued to watch, and then saw the triplane hit the ground and disappear into a thousand fragments...James McCudden

Very nice work all round, the overall finish is fantastic and I really like your presentation. Those Sanke cards are a nice touch as well. Great job!

I was at the show, it's as good in person as it is in the pictures.  Everything is very well executed.  The kit, the figures, the composition, the groundwork, the display....top notch.

Very nice Eindecker. I also like the groundwork on your Display base.

Lovely piece of work all round (I'm also a fan of the Sanke cards which are a nice addition to the display)
