After cracking open my WnW Fokker Eindecker E.1 last September, I've finally got a few pictures to share of the build. Again - some of the contributors to this forum have helped immensely with putting the project together so far. Although I'm cutting a few corners here and there. And I've had to make repairs & adjustments to the work so far because I don't look closely enough at my references the first time around.
The aircraft will be 13/15 which was flown by both Boelcke and Immelmann, and I wanted my fourth Eindecker to be completely straw-yellow coloured as shown in the optional schemes.
Cheers,
Gary

The cockpit assembly with seat hearness from HGW. The turnbuckles had to be moved after researching their correct location after this was photographed. Luckily I'd used the etched metal ones which I was later able to slide into their proper position.

I used ANYZ 3D printed switch handles on the panel.

The wing root part was beefed up with some scrap plastic as per discussion on this before cementing the fuselage halves together.

I pre-shaded some lines on the fuselage before painting on the dark yellow base colour.

I took several attempts to paint the turned aluminum finish, since my pattern kept changing as I attempted to keep it consistent. I had to overspray the bad areas again with dark Aluminum and re-paint the squiggles with chrome enamel a few times.

To get the undercarriage correctly aligned before painting, it was positioned and glued on the fuselage.
