I stumbled on these a few days ago. I imagine some of you may have seen these but for those who haven't here are some magazine covers from nearly a century ago. I recognise three that did get built albeit somewhat different. See if you can see any, here's a clue, one of them is not the propeller driven spaceship.

These are fantastical! I swear that July issue of Popular Mechanics was the inspiration for Darth Vader's costume.
