This is what a week's work looks like:

I can't believe it's taken me so long to paint and decal so many tiny little bits and produce so little! But I guess it's all part of the fun........ ;D

BTW the rigging wires from the rudder bar and control column are loose because I had glued these all in place but then I realised I needed to fit the seat first because they pass through the seat frame. DOH! So they have been cut loose until after the seat has been fitted.

A little more progress today:

I added some plasticard strips to "pack" the gap behind  the seats above the wing slot locations. This will hopefully prevent wing droop (thanks to Przemol for the idea!)

Looking good Nigel (and glad to hear that you occasionally have a 'Doh' moment too) ;)

Excellent looking Pit Nigel! I have made very similar rigging decisions in the past. (Had to re-do them same as you  ::)

You've done a good job on the interior Nigel.

Fantastic interior! And I hope my idea will work in your case, too.

Thanks very much everyone, I'm glad you think the effort was worth it.

And I hope my idea will work in your case, too.
It seems to be Przem. I have now closed up the fuselage and I did a test fit of one of the wings and it seemed to be perfectly straight. That was a really good idea, a nice simple fix.

Fantastic work, Nigel. Taking notes here and looking forward to more updates. Just started a WnW E.1 myself.
Cheers,
Gary

Thanks Gary, we are in danger of creating an infinite note taking cycle because I am using your EIV and Immelman EII builds as my references........ Plus Przemol's EI build as well, that packing trick really seems to do the job, I test fitted both wings and it definitely helps minimise droop.

Superb work on that interior Nigel, some real first class model building and along with the others in progress here I'm getting an urge to start my trio soon. Keep those wonderful updates coming!
Cheers,
Lance

Lovely, clean work, Nigel, I'm taking notes too...

But I think instead of a note-taking loop we may be in danger of outright quantum entanglement here, where something you do on your build simultaneously gets incorporated into mine, and Gary's, and Allan's, and my son Curt's, and back and forth across the breadth of the multiverse...

PS - At least you've managed to keep Schrödinger's nose out of this build, though; everything in that gorgeous cockpit will actually be visible once you button her up.
