Really?...I can't do this in 1/48?........
« on: July 07, 2024, 02:14:50 AM »
One of todays deep rabbit holes was Barkers Snipe.

I could not find a Roden or Eduard in 1/48 scale. What am I missing? Besides the Snipe......
Thanks,
Allan Buttrick

I was out of the loop for too long, so I can't help other than to note that Eric Hight did one in 1:48 in the original Copper State lineup.

Good hunting, as MvR would say.

Blue Max and CSM have made one in 1/48, but I haven't seen one advertised recently so presume both are OOP meaning FleaBay or a wanted add on here are probably your best best

Hi Allan - indeed Blue Max and Hi Tech did limited run injection moulded releases of the Snipe. CSM did a resin version back in the day also. They are all out of production, so ebay or a wanted add on facebook marketplace is your next best bet.

I did the Blue Max kit about 15 years back; it's a nice kit but needs a bit of work here and there.

Thanks all.
That was my suspicion that any Snipe is now OOP.
Amazed Eduard or Roden has not filled this void by now.
Thanks,
