Thanks. The MRP Weiss Aluminum turned out to be more translucent than "Most" metalics. That allowed pre- shading to work OK.

Today I went ahead and mounted the upper wing. Perhaps a bit earlier than I normally would but I needed to know if My plan for fixing the broken cabanes in place worked. It seems to have worked just fine....so far! I also will use the CSM RFC pilot in one of the photos:

Now that is looking very nice indeed. Glad the cabane fix worked. The kit is so well engineered it didn't surprise me that your plan worked.
