This is just wonderful!  Beautiful work, and you're braver than I for sure.
I either didn't know, or had forgotten that Aviattic had white background lozenge. I'm going to have to keep that in mind.

Warren

Thanks Warren. I'll pick up some of their 4 colour white lozenge when I need to build a 4 colour model. I found it a bit awkward to use compared to other decals being quite rubbery and difficult to cut even when fully dry with a brand new blade, but it looks so nice when done  :)

Lovely work all round Paul, and well done for persevering through some trials and tribulations along the way. It's a unique model and looks pretty good to me, I don't think any of the challenges you had create any issues on the end result.

Lovely work on the figure and, as always, great to see a base for the plane as well. I'm glad those kits are being put to good use!

Cheers Nigel.
As you know the Eduard boxing comes with several fuselage options so I didn't even feel guilty about 'wasting' a couple if it all went horribly wrong  ;D
Finished model isn't quite as crisp as it was when first covered, but a great learning experience (or so I kept telling myself as I wept during the build) ::)

Cheers
Paul

Well done Paul, it looks like it came from a kit! These types appeal to me and every time I see one I feel the urge to build one grow.

Thanks Sandy. I think I enjoyed this one (mostly) and I'll certainly tackle something else in the future

Thanks Zac - Not much more work than polishing up an old kit really given most of the detail work needs to be done anyway and if you are anything like me you'll more often than not decide that the main parts need 'tweaking' a bit  ;D
