Ok, finally getting some pictures posted. I chose to build no.1611 flown by Lanoe George Hawker the engine went together fairly well, broke two push rods so I changed them out with .5mm brass tubes. I did not go crazy with the cockpit just the basic rigging
Did some pre shading on the upper wing and now it just needs  A couple passes MR Paint CDl

Beautiful stuff! You've got the posting down pat now. Makes me want to start the Scout Kensar so kindly made available to me last summer...

Excellent work so far. Nice cockpit and very effective "ghost" roundels and rib tapes on the wing.

Lovely see-throughs.

Some of nicest I've seen since 'Happy Birthday, Mr President'!

Great progress! The shading is really well done!

Did you cut the mask for the roundel yourself?

I did, actually I found some various round objects from around the house that matched  the diameter that I needed to make the mask. I held the masks off the wing with some tacky putty. Been making good progress  no major glitches so far, will get some more pictures up soon.
