Hello WW1 aircraft modelers....
« on: February 12, 2013, 04:10:19 PM »
Hey Guys,

First, I like to say I hope all here are well. I found this site while looking doing a google search for WW1 aircraft modeling...specifically, rigging WW1 aircrafts. Now and second, my name is Mike Bhangu and I love to build model aircrafts. Most of the aircrafts in my collection has 3 wheels and jet engine in the back, however, that is changing with seeing some Wingnut Wings kits in person at local shows. I haven't build any biplanes yet and thus I'm here looking/reading/learning from y'all on how to make some awesome WW1 aircrafts. So, I'm looking forward to communicating with you all and building models.  :D

Mike

Welcome!  I haven't been here long myself but can tell you I've learned a ton from this forum already.  I would also add that everyone here is very encouraging.  I don't think I've read a critical comment ever.

I'm looking forward to participating in a group build the next time one starts.

Hello Guys, Thank you all for warm welcome. You guys are right...I have found a best site when it comes to WW1 aircrafts. Last night I was up late browsing through all those wonderful photos James took and posted here. All I can say is a big....Woohooo. You can't ask for any better reference then all those ;)

Also, as for my first WW1 build, you guys will be the 1st individuals that I will share my work with. In fact, a good friend just gave me several of his Roden (almost 10 kits) kits that were duplicate of his WnW stuff...so I have several subjects to chose from :) I feel like a kid at a candy store... ;D

Welcome Mike,

I just joined as well, and can say I'm quite pleased with not only how friendly and modest everyone is, but how talented they all are. I have yet to build a WWI craft, but I have ordered my first, so it's a start!
