Lucas at 'Lukgraph' has updated details Austro-Hungarian Phonix releases.
Information from the FB page.

"Phönix D.I and D.II - coming soon in 1:32 scale from LukGraph.
Today we present the final renders of the D.I version.
We really want to have the model in time for MosonShow 2024.
The kit will include several paint schemes.
Wire-reinforced wings, photo-etched parts, decals and 3D printed parts.
We will try to include one decal (custom-made with a pattern) in the standard version of the model.
More information coming soon."

Although both versions are similar, from a technical point of view they are two different planes.
There are different fuselages, different wings, horizontal stabilizers and elevators, radiators, exhaust pipes and propellers.
We hope that both models will appear in mid-June."

Hi Derrick,
Their flat rigging is intended for their post war aircraft, although I guess it could be used for applicable WW1 aircraft.
The photo-etch end fittings seem similar to those once produced by 'RB Productions'.
However, I think they'd look to flat to be realistic.
The photo-etch flat wire would possibly suffer the same problems with flat photo-etch wires (no strength, sag or bow after fitting etc).
That said I've not tried them,

Many have tried using this type of product, most have failed. I've spoken to several people that tried and gave up. Just scroll through this thread on Britmodeller and look at the example of the F2B: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235088632-metal-rigging-query/

The problem is that even if you can rig the model successfully, every time you pick it up there is a risk of wires bending out of shape due to the flexing of the plastic.

I have a set of these but I don't know if I have the courage to use them on a kit.....

Yes. I used them once for my Sopwith Dolphin.
It can be done but in reality, even in 1:32nd scale, it's hard to see the difference between flat photo-etch rigging and round section line, such as mono-filament.
So called flat rigging created by stretching such as 'EZ' line again gives no strength to the model and is more difficult to use if tube/turnbuckles are fitted to each line,
