Display Case
« on: February 20, 2024, 11:41:35 AM »
I have had a few questions about my display cases for my collection.  As you can see, my cases are vertical, so they take up very little floor space.  The cases are dust resistant and they lock.  This was important as the cases have never been in my house until recently.  They were always at the hobby shop where I taught my workshop.  But, alas, the last hobby shop in town has gone down in flames and the cases are now at home.

The collection is currently at about 250 and I added the last possible shelves recently.  When they are filled, I will have to come up with a plan B.  I figure I will be able to build 10-12 more models in the cases.  One case is for Axis Powers and the other for Allied forces.  They are split pretty even so there are about 125 of each force.  They spent about 30 years in hobby shops and I never had a damaged model.

Lovely cases. And a lovely collection (I am sure).

You mentioned, you had questions about them. And I did not find any in your post. ;)
