Hi all,
Update from 'Lukgraph'.

Mike

The Phönix D.I and D.II project is almost finished.
The presented Hiero 200 hp engine will also be the heart of our Hansa Brandenburg CC flying boat.
Phönix D.I in scales 1:32 and 1:24
Phönix D.II in scales 1:32 and 1:24
Hansa-Brandenburg CC in scales 1:48, 1:32 and 1:24.

Very interesting... Do we know if the Hiero engine will be on sale separately?
Well, I guess I can ask in due course, and they can say yeah or nay  ;D
Nice to see Austro Hungarian motors getting all this attention.

Łukasz packs his engines into separate plastic boxes even if they are a part of a complete kit. I am sure the purchase of separate engine will be possible.
Yet, you have to be aware that they are usually scaled to fit the kit with relatively thick fusealge walls. Thus, the engine may come a bit undersized for other applications. I had this issue with Mercedes D.III.

Thanks for the warning  ;D
I'm mulling over use for an A-H seaplane, it wouldn't be enclosed; hopefully the slight scale difference wouldn't be noticeable.
Though the Brandenburg CC itself looks like an attractive subject, I might just go for that.
