AMC DH.9 Spetsai (1/32, Wingnut Wings)

After a little Albatros in 72 a large DH.9 in 32. I am going to build the Greek famous Spetsai.



Many thanks to our aceww1 Spyros who provided me with lots of material on that plane including the contact to a Greek company producing corrected decals. Let me just say that the rays on the undersides will be red not blue in my model.

And here is the beginning. The dark wood has just been painted. And the main block of Puma engine assembled.

A new Przemo build log is always something to look forward to, and this one more than usual since I've got the DH.9 and Ninak both sitting in the cupboard awaiting that far-off day when I'm finished with the Eindecker project...

Definetly agree! A Greek profile is moreover something seen very rarely...

You are very kind and intimidatingly over-trusting in me. Anyway, I will do my best.

So here is some more progress. First, note that I have added the grill in the pilot floor window and that I have not added the electric wires on the instrument panel - I am sorry for this  Spyros.
Besides I am glad to announce that in the starboard truss rigging I have used my self-made eyelets for the first time!
One more note, the wash on the camera still needs a retouch...

I have followed the colour guide from the WNW instruction. Maybe there were various colour versions. Anyway, I think I will leave mine as it is.
