My newest model - a 1/72 Albatros D.III depicting the Polish a/c captured in Warsaw on Nov 15th 1918, armed in March 1919 and adorned with unusual Polish cockades with German crosses left on the upper wing. In April 1919 attached to 8. Flying Squadron and sent to the eastern front.

The Roden kit was enhanced with:
- Part PE interior and exterior bits
- Eduard resin Mercedes engine
- Axial propeller carved from thin veneers
- losenge decals from Aviattic
- individual markings decals from Mr. Decal.

I've been following this build in the Construction thread... It really did turn out amazing!
Incredible level of detail, especially for the scale.  The cockpit interior (I'm sure it hurt to button it up with all the detail you took the time to create) looks fantastic!  Really, the whole model turned out fantastic.
I'd also like to complement you on the photography, all those great details don't account for much if you can't show them off in the pictures.  Yours turned out looking great, everything very clear and in focus.
Thanks for taking us on the journey from start to completion.
Take care
Scott...

Prez -

Hard to believe this is the Roden kit - outstanding detailing resulting in a little stunner.

Prez can you prove that that really is the eduard/Roden kit and not another WNW masquerading as a 1/72 scale model?

Words fail to describe my reaction to this model...... and the build log was not only informative but very well written and illustrated too. I enjoyed every moment reading it.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Stephen.

Definitely one of the very best models in 1/72 that I've seen here since becoming a member.
Absolutely superb!

Thank you, mellon  :)

Stephen.

Probably the rear fuselage, wings and control surfaces betray the origin of the kit.  ;)
