Yeah, I've still got my D.I and D.II kits in the stash along with a couple of Roden D.III's. I figure there's little chance of anyone else doing a D.I, D.II, or W.4 so I'm hanging on to those for sure.

Hi everyone - here are some new renders from Eduard. Release date is now somewhere around the end of the year, all going well :)

This is not simply an up-scaling from their 1/48 release; we get correct panels, aileron arms, Albatros and OAW style rudders, and properly sized wheels, which is great. No overdone rivets or out of scale rib tapes either at this stage. We get both early and late style radiator positions as well (presumably why we get erroneous radiator pipes in the render).

Looking forward to this one!

Looks great. But one important point is that Alb and OAW versions also had different wooden panels around the engine. It seems that Ed has the fuselage for the Alb variant only.

Przemo just beat Me to mentioning the panel difference. That being said this one will certainly offer the Modeler Many Possibilities for markings! I am in for at least two!
As for wood grain, IMHO in this scale especially, Less is best  8)

Indeed they did, but the changes could be made quite easily on this one, I think (as opposed to the 1/48 kit where they got the nose panels completely wrong for any variant). I suspect we won't get two different fuselages, but I could be surprised.

We can only hope!  They sure included a lot of parts on their Bf-109 kits, so . . . . . .

Fingers crossed!

It is possible. Roden did both fuselages in 1/32nd so why not Eduard!

Last info from Czech modeller forum. Only one fuselage (Alb) and two versions of wing radiator. Central and right wing version.
