First, many thanks to Mike Norris for publishing the boxart, the decal versions and the presentation in general.

Well, .... I pre-ordered one of the “early” kits before the decal versions were announced.
What can I say - I'm a bit disappointed with the versions included in the kit.
In fact only # N.552 which comes close to my interest.
There would be so many more colorful and interesting French decal schemes for the early Nieuport 11.

Maybe I should hold off on pre-ordering in the future until the decal variants are announced.
At least with the Ni11 “Late” box and the Ni16 I will wait and see.

Now, I hope for some nice and colorful variants of the Italians as a separate Nieuport 11 kit-box or separate decals.

Bertl

We can change the box from Early to Late, if you want to
Also don`t forget, we will offer an exclusive one extra decal for Early and Late pre-order kits, just saying

Hello Edgar,

thank you for your reply, or rather, thank you for your reaction to my "nagging".

No, we don't need to switch from the "Early" to the "Late" box, we'll leave it as it is.

I would just have liked a, hm .... let's put it this way, .... a slightly more colorful decal selection.
But OK, it is what it is.
The Nieuport 11 N.552 scheme in the box is a good alternative for me and I will of course respect your reasons for choosing these variants.

I will have to do the N103 bird. It "roughly" fits My "Storks" collection. For Me as I tend to build Squadron collections, Lafayette and Storks would be My preferred markings. Oddly, although one would think there would be an abundance of After Market decals for those squadrons, they are really rare. Even the Nieuport 17's of Guynemer and others have not been done.

Same here Rick, and I am absolutely befuddled as to why no one has released both Storks and LE decal sets for the CSM Nie.17's. I've had early and late ones on my wish list for some time, but have never pulled the trigger for lack of those decals.

There are So Many that could be modelled and just the few LaFayette birds Mike Posted. One thing I am wondering. Guynemer, Dorme, and others had odd windscreens not available in any kit. With CSM entering the aftermarket business perhaps they could do the Windscreens to get us closer  8)

Well if you looks  closely you may notice, that N.3 Storks are not the best choice for Nieuport 11, that would be better for Nie16 and that what we will do
as for Lafayette, yes, this box is planned for 2025, it will be a separate box, with most Lafayette decal for Nie11 specifically

Hi Edgar,
That is great news.
The 'Strutter' has been a long tome coming and will be a popular buy for many, me in particular  :D,
