I think there's some pretty cool ones in there...... ;) Their FB page also has a scheme for Navarre's N576 which Mike hasn't included here.

To be honest, that's one main reason I never bought one of their 1/32 Nie. 17's, the decal options were, for me, very bland. There isn't much out there in terms of 1/32nd French aftermarket decals.

Same here, so I'm anxious to see what the late markings are.

First, many thanks to Mike Norris for publishing the boxart, the decal versions and the presentation in general.

Well, .... I pre-ordered one of the "early" kits before the decal versions were announced.
What can I say - I'm a bit disappointed with the versions included in the kit.
In fact only # N.552 which comes close to my interest.
There would be so many more colorful and interesting French decal schemes for the early Nieuport 11.

Maybe I should hold off on pre-ordering in the future until the decal variants are announced.
At least with the Ni11 "Late" box and the Ni16 I will wait and see.

Now, I hope for some nice and colorful variants of the Italians as a separate Nieuport 11 kit-box or separate decals.

CSM have said on their Facebook page there will be a separate Italian boxing in 2025.

My initial thoughts too. I was hoping for de Turenne's shield (but maybe that's a later N.11/16) which I wanted to model on my Special Hobby kit - but chickened out of producing the shield myself, or Navarre's stripy red/white/blue. Fingers crossed they'll be in a future boxing.

Thank you very much for this information, Nigel.
Since I am not a member of Facebook, this is great news .... although we will have to wait and see what decal variations are offered.

It’s interesting that to pre-order from CSM, including all the freebies and postage, costs less with the current exchange rates than the expected price of the basic model from Hannants!

Just a thought,

David

I'm fortunate enough to work part time in the Hannants Colindale shop, so likely grab them at trade prices.
Fingers X  ;)

I like the schemes chosen for this initial release, but I was hoping for an Escadrille 12 option with the nifty pennant on the fuselage. I might plan to bulid mine as the Lafayette Escadrille machine with the light blue fuselage flown by Sgt. Viktor Chapman, the first American pursuit pilot to fall to German guns in September 1916.

That would be awesome!  I too would like to do a LE build.
