Superb, this is going to look really good when done. And by leaving the covers off at least some of your beautiful detail work will be visible.

Some more work done.

Tail skid unit with corrected dimensions

Missing truss elements in the cockpit area added to the fuselage sides

The Albatros style front fuselage lines filled with CA, to be sanded and the OAW style lines to be rescribed.

And the upper wing assembled from three elements, the joints filled, the radiator is shaven to be replaced with PE.

Very impressive. To be honest: I also once possessed some PART Pe sets for 1:72 Albatrosses. But I never believed that there could be a person crazy brave enough to use all this stuff  ;)

Thanks.

Andreas, I will surely not use all that Part stuff, e.g. the turnbuckles are certainly beyond my skills.

And in the meantime, the stings are prepared

The air pump and the interupter lever retrieved from Roden engines prepared to be added to Eduard one

Final shape corrections of the tailskid

And some corrections of too soft edges

This looks very promising!

In 72nd scale turnbuckles should be done by diluted white glue or paint or not at all.

Przemek, it's not very visible in your photo, but the outline of a cross is visible from under the sign on the tail.
In my is it a bit to much in the white circle.

Thanks for the heads up 😉 But I know about that detail, and the decals from Mr.Decal have it included.   8)

Now my attention is drawn to the engine. I guess I have seen too many Mercedes D.IIIs in WNW kits and I could not stop doing some additions. Today the scratch replacements of not convincing partly too flat partly overscaled PE electric wires and the breather pipes.

And a small addition to the fuel tank
