RWD-1 and RWD-2 (MK Model, 1:72)
« on: October 21, 2023, 09:22:15 PM »
Completing a small collection of early RWDs I decided to build this couple simultaneously, to save time and paint as they have the same colours.
The fuselages are now closed, if you are interested how they look inside, just have a glimpse at my previous build of RWD-4  :)
The seams are being smoothed, primer and paints are waiting.

This looks like a fun build, Przemo, looking forward to seeing all three of them side by side!

You should have been a jeweler, Prezmo... but if you had been we might not have your beautiful work to keep us all entertained and amazed :)

An interesting collection going on here Przemo. Both of these are looking excellent as always!

Coming along excellently!
Is the overall finish on the fuselages a natural wood finish?
The colors certainly suggest a 1920's time frame.

Yes, the fuselages were completely wooden with veneer covering.

Almost done but for the engines and aileron controls.

Nice couple! And in 1:72, they won’t need too much sp-ace…  ;D

Thank you, Andreas. Indeed, they are very tiny...

And RWD-2 is now ready. RWD-1 boxer engine requires some more work.

Beautiful work, Prezmo, I hope we get to see all three of the RWDs together when the other one is done?
