The Blue Max Airmen Volume 20
« on: September 29, 2023, 06:22:43 AM »
Just received the latest volume and was reading about Josef Jacobs. I never knew when he died in Munich in 1978 his grave was abandon and is now unmarked. A hero in every sense from his WWI exploits to his defying the Nazis, I find it surprising that the last surviving Pour le Merite recipient is lost to us. Surly modern technology could re locate his final resting spot.

Steve,
I absolutely love this series, although I haven't acquired this volume yet. That is truly sad about Jacobs.
