This Fokker DVII from jasta 43 used by Lt Creuztmann and later by Lt Raesh is the Eduard kit in 1/72 scale the cockpit structure is scratchbuilt with stretched sprues the decals were modified with inks from Ammo (A- 0864mig) the weathering was done with watercolor pencils

Amazing, Fred... if it weren't for the photo of it sitting in the palm of your hand, I doubt anyone would guess it was 1:72. A gem of a model. The lozenge came out perfectly!

Excellent work, the lozenge turned out really well with the overspray/overpainting. A really lovely model.

Are you sure the photos other than the one in your hand, are of a True Scale model? The subtle weathering around the nose and the cockpit details are outstanding. Super model.

In your post asking for tips on tinting the lozenge I thought this was a 1/48 kit, so the photo in your hand came as quite a shock! Brilliant work Fred!
