Ardpol 1/48 SZD-36 Cobra sailplane
« on: May 16, 2023, 10:06:06 PM »
Another sailplane completed.  This resin kit is from Ardpol and is one of their latest kits before they called it quits.
The Cobra is a development of the SZD Foka line, designed for the 1970 World Gliding Championships in Marfa, Texas.  Pilots finished 2nd and 3rd in that contest.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the change of pace of the subject matter.

It is a huge joy to see a Polish glider model and built to such a quality. Just pure beauty.

Very elegant Ken. I enjoy the change seeing recreational aircraft brings.

Sorry I missed this one previously, Ken. She's a beauty - such a nice, clean detailed build.
Cheers,
