Just a few photos of my latest Build. I did not maintain a Build Log on this one, my production has been "stalled" for a bit as real world chores in the Winter months have kept Bench time elusive at best!
I struggled with this little devil at times, it's a nice Kit and I suspect many of the challenges I encountered were self induced and those clumsy and shaky fingers I keep whining about are getting no better with time! I chose one of the kit schemes and other then a few "scratched" enhancements to the interior it's pretty much an OOB Build. Paints are all Tamiya Acrylics, self mixed and I'm very pleased with the results in that department. I apologize for the poor quality of the images, it looks like a new camera is becoming a requirement rather then an option!

The Clear panels on the upper wing fit beautifully however I installed, then removed and reinstalled them a full six times in searching for a suitable adhesive. I finally threw caution to the wind, used CA, and thankfully no fogging of the acetate panels occurred. This may prove helpful to future Builders.

The sole After Market addition was the top mounted Lewis Gun from Gas Patch, a beautiful item.

I applied very little weathering to the model this time around as the model's color scheme was very easy on the eyes and I didn't want to dirty it up too much and lose that effect.

As the prop was more or less monotone and the laminations more or less invisible in the reference photos I used (like most French samples it seems) I stayed with the kit version painted with acrylics and oils in lieu of my usual hand carved efforts.

In all an appealing subject and with a careful approach and a little patience a very nice Kit.
Cheers,
Lance
