Phönix C.I in the works

Hi all,
Polish company 'KatModels' are planning to release the 'Phönix C.I'
Scales will be 1/32,1/48,1/72 and 1/144.
Unsure if the models will be resin cast or 3D printed.
Nothing yet on their web site but has been posted on FB

Thats very welcome. With those lukgraph kits it seems as if Austro-Hungaria is on the rise   :)

Looks nice, and a welcome addition. It's good to have them in all popular scales, though it remains to be seen if each kit will be detailed according to its scale.
I have three versions of the 1/72 HR Model injection kits so I'm not sure I'll be tempted.

A kit I've been looking for a long time finally in 1/48. Great news!

I mean there was also a 1/48 version from HR Model back then?

I have the HR kit in 1/48 for a Brandenburg C.I but not the Phoenix C.I.  This new Phoenix C.I would be great.

Carlo, as far as I know the only kit of the Phonix C.I in 1/48 was the Sierra vac.

Hi all,
Here's the shots from the FB page.
You email them for pre-orders.
Prices quoted are:
1/72-33$
1/48-56$
1/32-85$

These shots are doubtless CAD renderings and look good.
However, the actual kits may not be to the same quality (see below).
Also there are only 32 parts to the models, which is low for this type of model.
Therefore I imagine the fuselage internals are fairly basic.

Hi all,
I've never noticed before but it's strange how the interplane struts are configured.
The inboard struts on the Port side angle inboard at their tops.
Whereas, the inboard interplane struts on the Starboard side are vertical.

It's an optical illusion, they are angled on both sides  :)

Yes you're right - my tired old eyes.
However, looking at the model renders it does look like the Starboard struts are vertical?
