I'm in the same boat, Fredrik! Seeing these beautiful kits built so well by our forum friends makes it very, very hard to resist them! I only hope I don't leave it too late to pick up the ones that take my fancy.

There's probably no rush Zac. When was the last time a kit company manufacturing fantastic kits went belly up?! And if it did happen here, I'm sure prices wouldn't go up... 😄

Thanks gentlemen, as reference materials I used a few photos from windsock 99, it's only good to enlarge them, and this from internet photo is crucial

Excellent engine!  This looks like a real beaute of a kit. I’m getting really jealous of you 1/32 guys.
Looking forward to seeing your next post.

The Lohner project is back, after a long break, I decided to finish this model. The work has been going on since spring, so it's time to show the progress. I've already shown something on Facebook, but I think this report should also appear on this respectable forum. Especially since not everyone uses this garbage dump that is Facebook.

Now that is absolutely stunning! Beautiful rendition of the wood and superb detail painting.

Could you explain how you did the wood? Did you use the coloured pencils through the template?

As you can see in the first three photos, first a stencil, then some corrections with crayons, then a mixture of clear orange with the addition of smoke and clear yellow, and several layers of clear varnish, all from Tamiya LP

Wowzer 8)

Beautiful work on this one. The woodwork is really effective and I can't wait to see how it all shapes up

Thanks, it looks really effective. I am going to try that approach, thanks for sharing.
