Eduard 1/48 Oeffag D.II "Anny"
« on: January 26, 2013, 07:45:31 AM »
This one is dedicated in loving memory to my mom, Anne Eddins Pearson, known as Anny to all who loved her.
This was a conversion of the excellent Eduard Oeffag D.III kit to a D.II using the Eduard Albatros D.II wings, interplane struts and Pheon's outstanding decals.  Fairly easy conversion which can be found here:

Here are a few shots of my two Eduard Oeffags together.

And one more including my first Oeffag, the Blue Max kit.

Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks for your kind comments, Gregory.  It's so cool that you've been right along there with me since my very first post on the 'drome.
Cheers,
Bud

Bud,
Beautiful work and a wonderful tribute to your Mom. Like NinetythirdLiberator I really like the "group shot"; great contrast in finishes. Well done!

I like them all very much, the newest is my favorite; you really have sold the materials : canvas, wood and aluminum.

Thanks, guys!  I was reluctant to add the first one to the mix since, although the Blue Max kit is quite good, it was my second WWI model and I turned it into a complete CF.  Just don't have the heart to toss it.
Cheers,
Bud

Great conversion work, Bud, resulting in a beautiful looking model.

Now dig one of those WNW kits out that your wife bought for you !!
