I just found this thread.

This is a beautiful kit (I have one too) but that doesn't automatically mean that the end result will be equally beautiful.

But with you handling it there is no doubt in my mind that yours will be!

Thank you, everyone!

Rigging preparations underway. 148 eyelets from Bob's Buckles glued in and tested for pull-off.

72 large turnbuckles for the main rigging fitted with eyelets and they will be glued into the holes after painting the surfaces.

First 8 out of 44 small eyelets for the tail rigging and control lines fitted into the mono lines...

The wheels axes attached to the trusses, wheels and lower wing dry fitted to get some feeling of the size. It is fun.

It's good to see these updates showing your thorough preparation. I often rush headlong into a project and run into problems later. Looking forward to the next update.

This is dangerous, Prze...you're making me think I might be able to build these things after all! Beautiful work and an excellent reference for other builders.

The tub looks stunning Prezmo. I very much like the beautiful lines coming together in the pointed rear and the subtle impressions of the turtleneck stringers. Looks like real fabric to me.

And a great paint job too!

Thank you.
I have finished with the tub, adding the Mr.Decal numerals decals and some wash (not in these photos, they were taken before it). I also airbrushed the linen surfaces but with the fault of Lukgraph I will pause this build for a couple of weeks. However, I promise, it will be back to my bench ASAP.

Time to get back to this project!
Airbrushing underway, the Polish markings almost done, a few slight retouches will come. Some shading work applied to the horizontal controls. More to be done on the rudders and especially wings.
