'Lukgraph' 1:32nd scale Lohner L
« on: November 28, 2022, 08:57:11 PM »
Hi all,
It seems that 'Lukgraph' are planning to release the Austro-Hungarian 'Lohner L' float plane.
Possibly in January next year.
No render shots of this model published so far,

Mike

Kudos to Lukpgrah , they don't stop producing one after another WWI subjects, althought their  price tags are quite discouraging

Yes, I do wonder which process is more expensive, traditional injection tooling or 3D printing.
Injection tooling for a kit has probably always been the most expensive cost for a kit, although I hear decals is next.
Then we have CAD to 3D printing of final model parts and masters for the larger resin cast parts.
This method of production seems to be much quicker than producing injection kits, which is why I guess 'Lukgraph', can design, create and release kits so fast.
Their Rumpler has just gone to pre-order and already the Lohner is on the cards for January.
Whatever, it's good for models of types never made in this scale before, despite the cost,

Mike

This is fantastic news! Three cheers for Lukgraph.  Perhaps I'll refrain from self-immolation next year after all...

Hi all
It will be interesting to see how they approach the tail plane. I’m looking forward to a Macchi M5 to go with it which hopefully will follow.

I doubt there will be M5 from Lukgraph when there is HPH resin kit available.

Yes I doubt that to. The HPH model has its challenges, but can be built into a nice model.
