Thanks, I was more thinking of doing this the old fashion way of paint. Didn't Eduard issue one with the Voss markings?
I think I've changed my mind and will do 102 instead.
Thanks,
Allan Buttrick

In 1/48th, I always thought that Eduard's "Der Rote Flieger" edition had bonus decals for Voss. Every time the 1/48th Voss question comes up I go check again and alas they're never there. I think that Aeromaster folded up around the same time that Eduard started including the sprues required for an F.1 in their kits, but I'm surprised that Lifelike didn't didn't jump on that 1/48th F.1/Dr.1 decal gap considering that they've done quite a few D.VII's.
Bruno: "How many rules are there?"

Willi: "I don't know... none of zem have ever been written down."

I thought that someone had already mentioned this, but Eduard did release a Weekend Edition of the F.I. It is kit no. 8493, and includes Voss markings. On the box, they show the cowling in yellow, but that's of course up to the modeler. Unfortunately, it shows as discontinued on Eduard's site.

It appears to be very difficult to find in stock anywhere online.

Is it worth asking Eduard if the decals are available?
