Contracted it, was resting ok, stood up, passed out, hit my head on a side table, eight stitches over my eye and big goose egg on my cabbage. Someone mad at me?!!

Thanks for asking. I have a pounding headache and stiff neck but 9 hours at the hospital with blood tests and a CT scan showed all is ok.....except I'm still sick as a dog.

I'm so sorry to hear of your health woes and I wish you a speedy recovery. Covid knocks the stuffing out of people but your fall sounds scarier. As one who's seen the inside of hospital too many times I'm just glad they were able to glue you together and get you home again.

(I remember embarrassing myself by blowing my nose too hard and passing out - woke up in a pool of blood with a split over one eye but luckily it was only the floor involved on this occasion) ::)

the dizzies are the fun part.  the queasies are the bad part.

the pills they give create nasty taste in the mouth and i honestly dont think they help.

This is bad news Steve. I am pleased to read that apart from the goose bump all is well - ie your eyes were not damaged. Take care and take things slowly in future - I should write this - I am among the world's most impatient patients. Best wishes for a speedy recovery from all of your current ailments.

   Sincere wishes for a speedy recovery from all this. I feel your pain, as I was tested positive Monday morning and am living the joys of all that COVID has to offer as well! Get well soon and stop that Air traffic Controller nonsense, what always makes you Guys think you know how to fly through the air without hurting yourself!? ;)

Best wishes for a full and quick recovery, maybe covid19 is going to become a seasonal flu but still has lots of unpleasant side effects. Hold strong.
