Fritz Rumey 1/72 Albatros DV
« on: September 26, 2022, 03:21:23 PM »

Hey everyone,

First attempt at posting links to photos. Couldn't figure out how to attach photos directly - reducing the photos to less than the 128kB file limit rendered them useless. I'm learning how Photobucket works as well (I'm used to Instagram). Anyway, if you can see these images, they are of an Eduard 1/72 Albatros DV with Fritz Rumey's markings. Let me know if the links work. Thanks.

Very nice little model! Nice and clean.

As for the photos, if you have them already in Photobucket, you could post the direct links here. Copy the direct link to the photo that Photobucket provides - for each photo. Then insert it between the commands  "img" and "/img" - but instead of parentheses " " use brackets [ ]. This will cause the photos to be displayed here as they are in PB.
(The proper syntax cannot be shown here because the forum automatically expects the link if I use brackets :)

That's a really lovely DV in a very striking scheme, Glenn.

Brilliant paint job Glen. You could be fooled into thinking it is a bigger scale than 1/72.

I highlighted your images (one at a time), and pressed the far left icon on the second row  - Insert Image.

Beautiful model!

You are having us on...! That is the One True Scale? The markings are superb and the finish mind blowing. That must be one of the best models of this type that I have seen in this scale.

Stephen.

Oh wow!  I’ve always liked this scheme but afraid to attempt it.  You’ve done a wonderful job with it!

Lovely Albatros, even more impressive because of small scale.

Hey Everyone,

Thank you for the complements, and thanks to Gene K and Przemol for actually posting my photos and explaining the process. I'll work on getting some more photos into Photobucket so they can be posted. Some work in progress photos will follow soon as well.

Glenn

Striking scheme, and spotless finish! Can’t go wrong with an Albatros  :)
