Thanks to everyone for your kind remarks on the model - they are very much appreciated!

Spectacular piece of work Gary, the detail and finish are, as always, exquisite. We've had some very nice Builds of this Kit here on the forum over the years, this one is in a class of her own ............ Well done!

Lance - thanks again. Sounds like IPMS Edmonton have announced that they will hold a contest/show next spring to be held at the Kingsway Legion....perhaps some light at the end of the tunnel for us meeting up!

Cheers,
Gary

Nice work Gary.
This is near and dear to my heart as I live about 50 minutes from Rhinebeck.

I think yours is MUCH better....
Thanks,
Allan Buttrick

Gary,

Those markings just add an extra touch of grace to an elegant plane.  You definitely nailed it.

Rick, Stuart and Allan, thanks for your kind comments!

Allan, for as long as a youngster (after seeing The Blue Max) I remember I wanted to visit the Old Rhinebeck aerodrome and see Cole Palin's collection. Never did make it...but nice to see it's continued on in his spirit. You're very lucky to live so close.
Regards,
Gary

Love this one and despite being repetitive finishing is superb. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, although it is often said there is no such thing as a perfect model I can't find any other word to describe this one. It looks completely convincing in every regard and well....perfect!

This is beautiful model  :o! One of the finest, if not the finest Albatros I have seen! And figure is outstandingly painted, so natural and smooth... All congratulations from me!
