WNW Fokker DVII MFJGr 1,Gotthard Sachenberg, 1918
« on: January 18, 2013, 02:46:48 AM »
I started This project on Dec 30Th. I was waiting for parts from TaurusModels  which where sent to me from Mr. Lukasz . He made a new set D3209 which fits the Mercedes DIIIa. I will be building the Mercedes DIIIau 200HP engine . In the plane I will be building the top covers are not used so more of the engine will be seen .

That`s all for now .I grouped two weeks of work in 1 post ,but should have more done this week .

Wili,

Just picking up on your build thread -

Your engine looks great.   Those after market (Taurus) detail parts really do add an impressive amount of realism.

Dave

Yes  the Taurus parts look great .Just small pieces :) my eye`s are not what they used to be .
Well I got the engine 99% done and I `m going to hit the pit next .

Here`s the last of the engine photo`s till it gets mounted in the Fokker DVII.

Thank you again for all your kind words .

Here`s some work I started on the pit area ,only one photo to show !

I used 1/48th HGW wood grain decals which the photo really does not show much grain detail ,but it is there .

Thanks,Willi
