Pfalz DIIIa 1/32 WnW.
« on: July 29, 2022, 02:33:22 AM »
Hi mates,
Here is one of the Limited Edition's boxes of WnW.
The pilot was Jakob Pollinger, Jasta 77b in May 1918. I choose to simulate a hard used plane. Inside, the effect is pleasant, on the fuselage, it's not so good. Doesn't matter. I used Bob's eyelets, not so easy to use, very small but very accurate for the scale. Taurus accessories for the engine. I have to improve with ignition wires. I like the weathering. The propeller is painted with AK Pencils but I prefer the result with oil paints. I 'm going to test Gaspatch turnbuckles in the next. And the next one will be... 8)

Best Regards.
Alain.

Nicely done Pfalz! The interior looks lovely and your rigging is excellent!

Personally I think that the worn look is pretty realistic. First class model.

Hello Alain
Very enjoyable to see but the weathering is particularly good.

Alain,

I just love the lozenge wings with yellow markings on the Pfalz.  Quite the scheme.  Nice work.
