J1 WnW 1/32.
« on: July 07, 2022, 12:01:15 AM »
Hi mates,
Direct from the attic (because of the Pfalz DXII), I decided to repair my J1. Damaged in shows, the upper wing was away. Metal inserts, cyano and it's brand new !

Best regards.
Alain.

That is Gorgeous. Congratulations on the repair! We don't see this one built very often and your effort should inspire anyone who has this kit in their stash!

Lovely job Alain
(I've bookmarked this one, because I love the subtlety of the green paint job and I've got the smaller Eduard one in the stash which is getting nearer to the top of the pile)

That is what you might call a perfect recovery. It looks like new!

Ditto to all the above.
Not a kit I fancied myself but I can appreciate how well made (and recovered) this one is. Nice one.

I too agree with Dave - excellent repair but of an ugly aeroplane.

 It's a great repair Alain!

But I have to disagree with Dave, Ed and Stephen.

She's not a beautiful, sleek aircraft, but I wouldn't call her ugly either.

I think it's a peculiar aircraft though with the corrugated covering. It certainly makes her stand out!
