I made just also a try in Inkscape
I drawed the text (I have no idea which font to use, I used a bold one), made the letters 3mm high.
I draw a circle (the red line of 55mm).
The I selected both, and called from menu Text->Put on Path

That is the result:

If you send me some parameters like font, diameter ... I can send yo a SVG (Scaleable Vector Graphic) file :)

Cheers,
Frank

Hi Frank,

That’s mighty kind of you!

These are the parameters:

Font: Segoe UI (standard in Windows 10)
Font size: 3mm
Outer diameter of the wheel: 47mm
Tire diameter: 10 mm
The letters are positioned in the middle of tire wall.
The 'x' between the tire size numbers is 'floating' in the center-line of the font height.

I think a found a British firm that may provide the service:

https://modelshop.co.uk/

I’m still looking for a company in the Netherlands that can provide the same service, to save on customs fees.

Thanks again Frank!

Willem

This is now done as vector graphics.

The E is different, may be I should have edit the font before.

Now I'm curious to see how it looks on the wheels in the end.

Cheers,
Frank

Have you seen these.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373386830964 although they may not be big enough for v1500.
Having said that, I'm pretty sure the raised lettering would not be noticeably raised even in 1:32. If it's raised about 3mm  that would only be 0.09mm in 1:32. Decals would be far better than nothing.
