Eduard 1/48 Camel N6377
« on: January 28, 2022, 02:30:05 AM »
So here are some pictures of my finished new mold Eduard Camel. Eduard has done a good job and the kit builds into a nice model straight out of the box... The only AM addition I can think of is the Eduard Brassin Print version of the Rotherham pump.

Enjoy... I hope
/Fredrik

Beautifully built, painted, and rigged! I like your PC12 brown finish a lot.

I can't fault your work Fredrik, not that I want to! Every aspect looks just right, and the colour scheme (as mentioned previously, A Kiwi of whom whom I'd never heard) is breath of fresh air. Congratulations!

A nice model of the famous Sopwith Camel!

Oh yes Fredrik, you are right! That is really a great kit, and the initial Limited Edition release has a lot of nice markings!
And I congratulate you for finishing your model before me in our little race ;)
Do you plan to continue with the second Camel of the kit (in which marking?) or something different now?

Cheers,
Frank

What a beautifull Camel. I love the colour scheme. This is a truly excellent job.

This is one truly gorgeous Camel. It is hard to believe it is a smaller brother of WNW one. I am happy for you 48th scalers that you have this lovely kit available.

What the others have written. That is a super model - and very difficult to believe that it is 1/48 scale - it could easily be WNW. A very interesting colour scheme too - in all a piece of master modelling.

Beautifully painted and rigged in a lovely scheme. The printed pump is a fine addition to the kit and it was completed so quickly. Congrats.

Well Frank, it was more my race than yours... and in every other respect I think you won the race. 😀

I'm not quite sure on my next WWI model. It could be the Camel in a very special paint scheme, or possibly a very normal S.E.5a or maybe that Swedish Albatros B.II?
