WNW Albatros Bii, Austrian FliegerSchule.

Codes are made up, but it’s a plausible Scheme. May have had a different engine, 9 bar Hazet radiator, different header tank and rounded rudder, but who cares? She’s been sat on the shelf of doom since Covid came to town in March 2020.

Spectacular. I love those Austrian markings. And the staining, especially the top of wings centre, is fantastic. And I see you tamed the WNW wood decals to great results. All in all a show stopper and no mistake!

I agree with every thing Prez has written. The weathering/staining is most realistic. Wonderful to see a training aircraft for a change and in Austrian markings too.

PS: Have you found an alternate site to age photos?

Funny enough I was trying to use the Bakamatsu koshashin site to do some aged pics. It’s gone, sadly. I loved that site.

Yeah, I found out A couple of Months ago. Since I had provided Ray Rimell with that link and noticed He is still posting Aged photos I asked him for his new link. He basically said google aged photos which brought Me No Joy!

Brilliant work, Dave!

Subtle weathering is good and I like your simple display base which sets of the model beautifully.

Very very nice Dave! As a big fan of weathered finishes I really appreciate what you've done here, the staining and the "toning down" of the wood portions is very realistic, a lovely model and one to be proud of.
Cheers,
Lance

Dave,

Marvelous.  I too love the AH markings, and the weathering, and the shading on the engine, the mounting of the radiators, etc.  So nice.
