Gotha IV 1/48
« on: January 02, 2022, 07:45:14 AM »
I built this one years ago. It was a 1/48 kit really hard to find (don't remember the brand) to built a GV but I wanted this G IV, so I had to made my own engine nacelles brand new.

Beautifully built and painted. Like I said about the Caudron build it is easy to see you have a passion for WW1 aircraft!

Beautiful work, what a stunning model!

I recall this was an AZ kit?

Thanks for sharing with us.

She is a beauty !

Very nicely done indeed , she is a fare size in 48 scale .

Hippo Models was the first to release the kit . AZ released it a while back . Can't recall when but it is a nice kit .

Beautiful conversion, with a captivating livery. The kit has been recently reedited and sold out... by Aviattic, both kits ( this and the Caudron ) are excellent but require skill and lot of work so congratulations are well deserved.

Beautiful.  Thanks for the inspiration.  I have one of those in 1/72, awaiting the time I get up the courage to build it.

That really is a super Gotha - extremely well done. The nacelles do not look as though they were scratch built.

The G.IV is my favourite of the German multi-engine types and that is a gorgeous build CMG, well done and thanks for sharing it with us.
