How do you guys straighten a warped wing?
« on: December 23, 2021, 08:39:58 AM »
I have a warped lower wing that is kind of warped upwards ( including also the Meng Fokker DR.I). I would like to hear some advice on how to get this straightened. Should I use a hairdryer, boiling water, what is the most recommendable technique without melting the plastic?

I think that there is a thread on this section about how Mark straighten his Meng DR1. It also includes other methods like My just using finger pressure to straighten them out  8)

Here you go. I tried the hot water trick (on the Meng 1:32 DR.1) with no success, then Mark's method described here. worked like a charm!

Thank you guys for the link, it is much appreciated!! , but the offending part is just a portion of the tip that is warped. I think I'd try to put a dumbbell on top of that and heat it up with a hairdryer
