Very nice work!  Love the weathering.
There are only two states to be in:  Queensland and blotto.

Many thanks!

Two Benz Bz.III engines are getting ready to be installed. Engine covers have to be weathered.
I scratched cooling piping to water pump.

Martin, those engines are exquisite! Please forgive me if you've covered it already: how did you paint your exhausts? I'd love to be able to replicate that finish!

Looking great and I agree with Zac about the engines! I love your counterbalance weight while mounting the wing  8)

Thanks! Exhaust were painted with some GSI Super metallic (Stainless steel I think) and then I applied pigments (Dark rust and umbra). The last step was van Dyck brown oil paint thinned with white spirit to simulate some shadows in corners.

Those engines look great Martin (as is the whole model so far)!

Thanks for sharing the paint procedure.

Hear hear. Thank you very much, Martin! I'm not familiar with all those products so I'll do some research.
