Roden 1/48 BE-2
« on: November 29, 2021, 08:22:15 PM »
Hello all,
A big thank you for the awesome welcome replies from my first post a few days ago.
I've just started into WW1 gear this last year ad have alot to learn... things like turnbuckles in my rigging etc. Getting there.
For now, here's my Roden BE-2.
  Thank you for looking.
Paul in Brisbane.

Excellent work Paul. I love the finish.

I made this same Roden kit a few years back in the same scheme. Yours is better :)

Thanks for sharing your work. We really need this aircraft in 1/32 scale too.

cheers

Very nice build. I've got one, but I may never get around to it as I've pretty much shifted to 1/32 these days...

Well here's my Roden Be2c from 2010. Brush painted as all of mine are.

I'm keen to do another Be2 now!

Very fine BE2c, Paul. Not an easy model to start with. Great job all around.
And speaking of turnbuckles, surely you may wish to add them to the rigging but definitely not on BE2c - just a hint not to be too quick with them ;)

Both beautiful models of a true classic, I really like them and I agree, we NEED a 1:32 Kit as well! Thanks for sharing this Paul, and it's a wonderful start to your WW.I collection.
Cheers,
Lance

Excellent pair of BE's. I was unaware that this aircraft had been kitted in 1/48 scale - you have both done it proud.

Stephen.
