AMC DH.2 - Wingnut Wings 1/32
« on: October 04, 2021, 03:17:30 AM »
Hello everyone,

another AMC DH.2... quite an inflation nowadays  ;)

In the following you can see my interpretation of the Wingnut Wings kit. Meanwhile I know about my mistakes with the propeller and the turnbuckles. Maybe you look at other parts of the model  :P.
However, I don't want to hide the little lady.

For the build I used following additional material:

- Taurusmodels Motor, Gnôme Monosoupape 9
- HGW Super Detail Set 132105
- Gaspatch Lewis MK.II
- Gaspatch turnbuckles in 1:32 und 1:48
- Scale Aircraft Conversions 32139

Time span of the build was 1 year and 4 days. You see, I'm quite slow. I only build if I'm not tired and in the mood.

Now (quite a lot) pictures:

Beautifully done and your detail work is spectacular. The Gnome motor is exceptional in it's realism and the cockpit detail .......  words fail me!
My sincere compliments, this is exceptional modelling.
Cheers,
Lance

Well it may have been a long build, Rafeal - but definitely worth the wait!

What a stunning result on your WNW DH2 - love it.

Wow Rafael,
there are so many details and outstanding weathering, the ripped off paint in the cockpit is brilliant. The engine is the cherry on top!

Hi Rafael,
This is an exception build and the time it took to build was time very well spent,

I am not sure that anyone could have built a model to that standard in any less time.  Like Lance I am lost for words.
