thanks guys for the overwhelmingly positive comments, much appreciated

. I think you make me finish this model properly... usually my problem is that i skip to the next subject before finishing the details of the current one!
The light blue paint for the struts etc is Revell matt light blue, might be 47 or thereabouts, I am not home right now so can´t check. Seems that especially Letord and Caudron used a lot of light blue for various parts... it just looks deceptively light in the period photos and virtually impossible to tell from grey and ecru in b/w photos.
Lately I have been making the steering wheels using thin copper wire and heat stretched sprue for the spokes. I make a loop of the wire around a thin brush handle, tighten it by turning, remove it, then cut a perfect loop, squeeze it closed (with superglue)and add the spokes + centre. I think the result looks better than just photoetched ones. The best would be adding the wire loop to a etched wheel, but I haven´t got any and haven´t got the gear for the photoetching either anymore. Next time i do a wheel, I will take a couple of photos the show you my method. It´s economical and rather easy if you have a good magnifier and a steady hand.
