Hello all,
I just want to drop by to recommend these drill bits from Tamiya.
Yes, not cheap, but for me, the best drill bits I've ever used.

They just work!
Cut into the plastic with ease and never seem to dull in the sharpness dept.

Average price (Hannants) is around £5 to £6 per bit.

That's about a #83? I'm sure if it's Tamiya it's very good. I still like the drill bits unlimited we have in the vendors section. I go through a few of the higher #'s but at about 60 cents US a piece that's ok. I actually do use, on occasion, the higher numbers 87 and 92

How durable are they? I find that carbide drill bits, although very sharp, break if you even look at them the wrong way.

 An alternative to brittle carbide bits are cobalt drills. They are quite sharp and designed for very hard materials so plastic and resin are no problem. You need to shop around as prices vary quite a lot from suppliers. Available on Ebay.
