WTB Pheon 32012
« on: June 03, 2021, 07:42:06 AM »
Looking for the Pheon decals for  D.V D.4578/17, Ltn.Erwin Böhme 1/32.
Any help appreciated.
Also, does anyone know if anyone made decals for his D.III (D.2119/16)?

Thanks,
DeLano

I would also be happy with just the serials and paint the "B" with templates.
Thanks again.

I've searched google and came back with no results.
Does anyone know if someone makes an Albatros serial number sheet? Just numbers?

AFAIK, there’s no Albatros “just numbers” available. Since it’s only the digits you require, you might try 1/32 FCM Albatros sheets,  cobble the serials from Roden Alb. DI/D.III kit decal sheets, or Pfalz D-Type sheets. The Pfalz fonts are close enough that none but the purist is likely to notice the difference. Pheon 32012 is out of print, so you’re not likely to find it at a “reasonable” price, especially since you’re only looking for one airframe.
As for D.2119/16, I could only find the 1/48 Peddinghaus sheet.
HTH, Rob

It appears that any of the 1/32 Peddinghaus Albatros D.V/Va sheets (very bottom/bottom right of each) has EXACTLY what you’re looking for! Silly me for not noticing it before!

I don't know who you are. I don't know where you are. But I would hug you! LOL.
And I've even looked at those sheets myself, and never saw those!
Apparently, I need glasses.
Thanks for your effort my friend. It is greatly appreciated.

You’re most welcome & glad I could help!
Regarding Albatros D. III D.2119/16, Jack Herris’ Albatros Aircraft of WWI Vol 4/Fighters , photo caption p.95, says it was the mount of Otto Bernert when he was C/O of Jasta Boelcke.

I pulled that serial from the Wings Palette website. Their info must be wrong.
