I have finished the Roden Niueport 24bis. Tis is one of those Models that in spite of glitches obvious to me, is very satisfying.

Not very often do we see these Roden kits completed. And you have done a great job on it, Rick. Another fine addition to your collection... (sounds like Grievous talking to Obi Wan...)

Superb result on your N.24bis and you acheived more than what I managed to do with this one!

I also like the Indian head motif marking as well.

Great work, Rick. You have done the silver painting on the spot. Not too shiny and not too grey. The weathering is also very nice.

Thanks to all for the comments. Funny thing here. I couldn't remember what a couple of things I knew needed to be added. Well after looking at the photos about 10 times I remembered. I still need to add the Support struts to the tail and paint the prop boss

Never mind the missing details Rick: the model is superb. Having followed your build thread I am very impressed indeed with the result which reflects both your skill and determination not to be put off by problems thrown up by the kit. The finish is super as usual - as others have commented your aluminium finish is something to die for.
